I'd like some advice on integrating my 4s with my 182.

Ideally I'd like to be able to do the following:
  • Hands free calling (ideally with sound coming back via the car speakers)
  • Ability to play music from my spotify app via the car stereo
  • A mount which will allow easy access to the phone for siri etc which will also charge the phone
Not hugely bothered about keeping the standard head unit if it's going to be cheaper to achieve this with a different head unit. I'd ideally like to keep the use of the stereo controls on the stalk near the steering wheel.

Thanks!

your best bet is to buy a bluetooth head unit, although i'd do some research as some are'nt as iphone friendly as others.

personally alpine are good at this, although you do pay for the tech. HTH

I've just done the following in my 172 cup...

Get a simple aux in adapter from Ebay for less than a tenner for the standard update list head unit (mine was a little more as it's the older tuner list Head unit in the 172)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/POD-MP3-LEAD-RENAULT-UPD...

Then a mount like this which you can install onto the center vent closest to you

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003UAO02G

This will have the phone at a convenient location for speaking into and play audio from it through the cars speakers for spotify and calls etc.

I've made a couple of calls like this (Only had it in the car for a few days) and whilst it's not perfect i'm not willing to sacrifice the standard stereo or rig up some alternative bluetooth solution so it's a reasonably cost effective solution. Siri seems as good as it has ever been so far (it doesn't seem to like my Northamptonshire drawl at the best of times), being a 172 cup the sound deadening is non existent so I have to speak at a higher volume than usual - A 182 should be a little less challenging in that respect.
