I sold my 200 yesterday and the new owner has understandably asked for the whereabouts of the jack, there's a space for one however I have never had the need to use it and a little embarassingly have never even thought about the presence of one.

I'm wondering if as there's no spare supplied with the car and only the emergency gunk that it in fact never had a jack from new. Can any other 200 owners confirm for me if a jack was included with their car?

The Clio 200 'Cup' doesn't come with a jack. Instead it comes with 2 cans of tyre foam. This is because it is too low for the standard jack. I asked Renault exactly the same question when I bought mine, and that is the answer they gave me.

Thanks that's helpful, mine was the Full Fat with the Cup suspension, so I assume the same rule applies. Appreciate your help.

Yep. As soon as you spec Cup chassis you lose the jack. Bit dumb imo, but hey.

Agreed, no jack on full fat version. The suspension is too stiff to use a jack (or so I have heard)

That's bum gravy. It's just to save a few quid and if you moan they bang on about weight saving. They lose interest when you mention you bought the FF version!
