clio 1.2 billabong WIRING LOOM

wiring loom needs major repair.it seems this is pretty common on renault clio,s. just wondered how common a problem this is.all replies welcome.
and the sun roof has a major rattling sound,which also seems to be common.

Both problems are quite common. Handle and hinges wear but also frame creaks and moves in hole in roof. Wiring loom corrodes on supply to computer but worst bit is from computer to throttle body, high resistance and poor connections, some caused by silicon gel contamination on the computer pins. Easier to fix than the sunroof though.
