I've been offered some wheels for my 2002 clio 172 cup (it has silly non standard 17s on it from when I got it).

The wheels I have been offered are the make and model I want and have good tyres but are coming off a Mazda MX5 I know they are 4 stud and 4x100 but that's it...... Does anyone know if these will fit?

Unfortunately the person offering the wheels is not local so I cant just 'try one on'.

Thanks guys

The offset isn't the problem here, it's the centre bore which on the MX5 is about 54mm i believe whereas on the Clio it's 60.1mm.

The offset on a standard 172 is ET43 i seem to remember and on a 172cup it's ET38

PS - great photo of your Cup on your car profile, the Turinis look lovely.

Cheers! The Turinis had been refurbished not long before the picture was taken, although they've been replaced now.

No, those wheels won't fit, it's worth a look on Cliosport.net or even eBay, wheels seem to come up quite regularly.

Gutted! Thanks for the advice tho GMan, saved me a trip from Bournemouth to Eastbourne to pick them up.... Am gutted tho as the wheels were OZ Superlegerras with recent Toyo T1-R's on and the seller had agreed to let them go for £100 which seemed a bargain.

I have now found some OZ F1's locally which actually came off a Clio so I know those will fit! Will post a pic if I go for them.

Would love some Turinis (had them on my first Cup) but am too tight to fork out the £300+ people want for them!
