Quick 306 gti6 help please

Just been to view an otherwise perfect gti6 - I love it but it has a misfire that only appears under heavy load under 2000 rpm - "moneypit walk away" or "knock the pice down and swap the plugleads/coils"?

Everything else checks out great

So for those of you that know the six, does this sound ominous complex and expensive or not?

Advice very gratefully received

ps. they don't stutter on low RON fuel or anything do they?
