Got 4 x free paddock tickets yesterday for the Saturday and Sunday (are they all free?)
Im tempted to camp, how much is it for the one night?

What sort of size crowds does it attract? I went to the F1 the other weekend which was obviously very busy but the GT1 a few weeks before was rather quiet. Essentially, Im up for camping if its packed with a good atmosphere but not if the fields are almost empty...

usually the biggest crowd of the year after the GP. usually 100K-120K over the weekend, evenly spread IME and yes the tickets are free. We are not sure about full paddock access this year due to the confusion about who is in what pits and on what side of the track. If you have a classic Renault or Renaultsport road car then you can register for a special collectors parking area in the infield.
click on the world series link at: www.renaultalpine.co.uk for full details.

Thanks for the info.

Does anyone know if there is going to be live evening entertainment for the campers?

I'm thinking of heading up this weekend, is there a better day to go? Or should I just man-up and hit the campsite?

I've been hearing less than positive things from friends that have been to this event, even heard that Williams 0001 suffered some damage by the hands of chav scum furious

Clio Williams number 0001, the very 1st 1, owned by Renault themselves & only wheeled out for special occasions
