Hi guys,
Our daily grind has developed a fault where the key (fob) is very intermitent and after opening it up, it looks as though the little microswitch inside has just broken apart. I don't have a spare key, so pretty much the car is now useless and will not start at all as the infamous Renault immobiliser is kicking in.
Any ideas of getting a replacement key apart from a main dealer as really the car is worth about £500 and main dealer prices seem to be quite stupid for a key.
Looking online seems to be a very common problem.

Got the key sent down there and 20 mins later and £16.50, key fixed. Tested and working a treat.
