2002 Clio Dynamique

First posting on the French Bred forum and after a bit of advice from any PH Renault owners.
Looking for a car for my son (his first car!).
Been offered a Clio Dynamique 1.2, 2002 (02 Reg) 44k miles. Seller (private sale) wants £1,500.

On the + side
Bodywork & interior vgc
low mileage
Tyres & wheels gc
Runs ok

On the - side
Last service 07/08 @ 35k miles so well overdue!
MOT only a month left
No current tax
O/S front fog lamp needs replacing
one seat lift doesn't operate properly
sun roof leaks in heavy rain

Seems reasonable to me, althogh I'm no expert and would probably need to spend £300+ for MOT, service etc.
Might be able to persuade seller to tax for 6 months as part of deal.
Not sure what the sun roof leak would cost to fix?

Any advice whether this seems a reasonable deal would be much appreciated.

Theres a guide for the sunroof fix on Cliosport but you'll need to become a member (but it really is worth it)

Broken springs are quite a common MOT failure so check for that (my GF's has broken 3 but its a cheap and easy fix)

Seat and fog light could be ignored or got from a scrappy if you must.
