i have a grasshopper and decided to get it moving a bit faster so................
i fitted an lrp esc along with a rs 540 sport tuned motor , it seems quicker but i feel somethings wrong as it takes a few seconds to get to a decient speed but in reverse it's instant and slightly faster .
what have i done wrong ? thanks in advance...........

Have you set the speedo up right?
Could be something as simple as using the servo reverse then switching the motor connectors over to get it going in the right direction again.
Most speedo's have reduced power for reverse and a delay for using reverse for brake rather than throwing the wheels backwards straight away.
