1/12th, not 1/8th, and there were a small numbr in 1/18th, too.

A couple get reissued every year, generally enhanced with photo-etch etc. Others show up on fleabay.

I have most of them, ought to get round to acquiring the others.

Ah right.....I'm quite liking the Tyrell, have you built that one?

Yes - done that one.

Some were yonks ago, but I've got through a few of them.

Built:
Porsche 935
Matra
Lotus 78
Lola T70
Honda
Tyrrell P34

Ferrari 312B3
Ferrari 312T4
Ferrari 641
Brabham BT44

Not built:
Renault RE30
Ferrari 312T
Wolf WR1
McLaren MP4

Not bought:
Lotus 49 (either of them)
Lotus 72
Tyrrell (the other one)
Porsche 934
Williams FW14
Datsun 240Z (either of them)

The recent reissues sometimes suffer a little from worn mould tooling, but they're generally pretty good.

I'll post some more pics one of these days, but they could all do with a clean and the odd repair where they've suffered the attentions of small children.

They come up on Ebay quite regularly. Just do a search for "Tamiya 1/12" or "Tamiya 1/12 F1" - there are a bunch of them on there.

I've got a Ferrari 312T, Williams FW14B and a Renault RE20 in 1:12.

I'll put some pictures up some time.
