That needs a clean laugh

MP9 is too much money IMO, Kyosho are losing the plot and need to get back to reality as they are being beaten by cheaper cars like the HotBodies D8 and the Losi Eight.

Quite happy to stick with my 808 for now.

Mugen MBX6 is better than the Kyosho and massively cheaper. Agreed that Kyosho are losing the plot. Stupid money for the buggies when the competition is better and a lot cheaper.

I have the MP777 WC edition, which can be had for 350quid. I thought that was good value.

It's not bad value at all until you compare with the latest stuff. The MP777 is two (I think) generations back yet costs the same as the latest spec machine from other manufacturers Kyosho's latest is almost 3x the price of some (very worthy) competitors.

Its one generation I think. I've always found kyosho better quality than most of the competitors. The team WC edition is well spec'd up and 100quid here or there is nothing in this game.

Still reckon the Mugen is better. Kyosho no longer world champs also makes it look very expensive.

How many people can tell the difference between a world champion car or "normal car", and lets be honest, the inferno is very familiar with world titles. Now i'm not saying its the cheapest but, as said, a 100 quid is small change at this level. 600 quid for a car needing engine, wheels and servos is too much, but the MP777 WC edition is good value in my book. I still maintain kyosho are better quality than most.

It all depends if the person drivng the 600 quid buggy has paid for it himself or has been given/sponsored it and of course if they can atually drive it properly.
The world is full of amateurs who think they will drive better with an expensive buggy (I beat a few with my Lightning 2 back in the day lol).

Reminds me of the best ever quote heard at a race. "Daddy, can you move my transmitter out of the sun as it hurts my hand if it is too hot...". While daddy lifts the car from the track, checks it over and fills it with fuel for the next race while he looks on.
