I have a new DX3S receiver/transmitter that has telemetry built in. I have the head temp monitor working but can't get the speed rpm signal to work. It requires the placing of special metalic or no metalic dots on the flywheel. I think my flywheel is aluminum. Has anyone got this working and are there any special tricks?

More hassle than its worth apparently, should have spent the extra pennies and got the DX3R.

Telemetry is only usefull for bashing as its supposed to be illegal for racing but only on a national level as most clubs will turn a blind eye to it.

Haven't used the new system but on the old one a black paint mark would work on a silver flywheel.

The old system only needed a contrasting colour. so I painted a white line on a black platic spur and a black one on a silver aluminium one
