Hi All,

I have purchased a Core RC 5 cell 6v 1500mAh pack for my car, and a Prolux charger...

The charger is settable at different voltages, amps and mAh levels, but I can't seem to charge the pack properly with it.

I set it to charge at 1A, and stop after 1500mAh, once it finished charging, I checked the pack and it was dead!

The sticker on the label says 15hr charging at 100mAh but my charger doesn't go that low - what am I doing wrong?

Cheers in advance!!

1A may be too much and causing the charger to trip on peak detection. Have known of a couple of dead Core RC batteries in the shop i helped in. Maybe worth seeing if someone can get any life out of it with a better charger that will go as low as 0.1A.
Not sure on the Prolux but make sure you have selected the proper NiMh setting for the battery, it pulses the amps in instead of a steady current normally used for NiCd batteries.
