Pick up a licenced copy of windows and install it on the Mac.

You need to find someone who is actually using one on the hardware you have. Most Tx are serial out & use a USB converter, some converters & software interacts better than others.

Helpful......Lets not let this degenerate into bickering about platforms.
Anyay.
Bit of Googling suggests this might be a good native answer;

Anyway, as said, you can either use Bootcamp on your Mac to install windows. And run a sim in that. Or, there is actually a Mac RC chopper sim available. Its not free, but its not expensive either. Might be worth a shot?

I've tried it a little while ago (in demo form) and it seemed good enough to tell me that if I can't fly one in a sim, then I certainly shouldn't waste my money buying a proper rc chopper

Congrats on the switch to a proper operating system OP. I don't know why Windows users always get so defensive when Macs are mentioned, it's a sad complex!
There are several options open to you. If you still have a copy of XP from your old PC, then just use Boot Camp and a USB based sim such as Phoenix. When starting your computer up you will be given the option to boot to OS X or Windows XP. If you don't want to have to shut down and switch to another operating system, then there are several excellent tools like Parallels or VM Fusion that allow you to run Windows from inside OS X.

If you cant find a decent mac sim I found helisimrc ok to learn on, im not sure the physics are any better than FMS, but it looks nicer.

I now have a copy of Phoenix and this is much more accurate, but its a bit expensive just to find out you cant be bothered to learn to fly

Macs Rock! I run windows on my Mac to enable me to run Rfactor & it copes very well at max detail, I'd go this route if I were you, just dont try to run both OS at the same time as this seems to cause people probs, I shutdown & restart & have been for a year now (pro 17) with no probs.

But buying "niche" hardware & then looking for mainstream apps seems a bit short sighted.
I run FMS & a USB converter on a Dell XPS Gen 2 & it runs very well.
