Hi, I need to make a battery mount for one of my RC cars and to make a couple of parts for another.
Hacing come up with the cunning plan that armed with my Dremel and a block of suitable material I could sculpt anything I need, I then realised that I don't have said suitable material!

Anyone got any ideas where I could get some nylon or delrin (or another similar material) so that I can get dremmeling? Google has not been much help (although some of the websites that appeared whilst searching for nylon were fascinating redface) Perspex would be too brittle so need something plasticy.
Thanks

Or you could always make your own perfect size custom fit Battery holder...

This stuff works very well indeed. And if the battery gets hot and makes it soft it wont matter as it will just make it more "comfortable" (although I would worry if the battery reaches 62C whilst in use)
