Ok I know I posted about being a hobby addict.
I used to fly a Raptor 30 up to a reasonable standard (barrel rolls etc.) but that was about a year ago.
Now I fancy something smaller without the noise and nitro problems and fancy the Honey Bee V2 for a quick buzz around the garden.
Anyone got any experiences with this one or should I just not bover as its not worth the cash?

Get a Blade 400, all in one package for about £280. Its a 400-450 size as the name suggests, and is great for flying out side, to big fro inside in my opinion.
i used to fly to a good standard until about 3 years ago, when i gave up, i picked on of these up last year and its great, just charge, get out of the box and fly.

I am thinking about one of these, it has a built in Camera which sends live video back to a USB thingy so you could even fly it from inside the cockpit if you wish !

Thats what I fancy, no mucking about with nitro/tuning, just get up and fly since we have a bit of land behind the house - will have a look into that one i used to fly to a good standard until about 3 years ago, when i gave up, i picked on of these up last year and its great, just charge, get out of the box and fly.

Have you flown a heli before - if thats got proper control set up its much harder than it looks (just been looking at sims again)
Thanks, i will try
I have been messing about with a few llama type jobbies but they have been a bit too big for to learn with in my little living room. I always end up taking them outside and then i am battling the wind with an indoor heli..
I know i will be breaking this one but atleast it looks like it is worth repairing

Once you get it trimmed it's quite smooth, but still a complete handful due to its small size. Very well made though, I've had some reasonable spills with mine (into walls, sofa's etc) and so far managed to break only one main blade (funny enough that was the lowest speed accident yet)

Just got one of these (but the CX - contra-rotating one). Great little heli and I imagine a good deal easier to fly that the non-CX. Having said that, it is taking me a while to master it, never having flow helis before. reat fun though!! I just picked up one of these 'buzz flyer' heli's

Right then
This is definitely the most fun out of the heli's that i have had so far! Just perfect for my living room, for the first time i actually feel like i am learning to fly the thing rather than just trying to stop it from hitting the walls
The flying time is quite short, but i have two batteries and i guess the motor needs to cool anyway. I have officially now crashed into everything in the room and the only thing to break has been the tip of one of the skids. I suspect that was only because i had the 'Learner bars' attached when i crashed, so i have taken them off.
Brilliant toy!

I'm thinking of selling some of my 30 classic Tamiya RC's and getting into planes/copters.
My friend who is into helicopters reckons the E Sky Honey Bee King 2 is fantastic value and great to learn with.

I have one of these too, it's a Walkera 4#3B. They're so much fun, although my first ever heli and I must say, it did take a few weeks to learn how to fly. I'm still having a bit of a struggle with nose in. It's so sensitive to control input and setup because of it's size. I should have got the simulator lead and tried that first, or at least the co-axial version, it would have saved me a couple of tail rotors. I l guess I like jumping in the deep end!I just picked up one of these 'buzz flyer' heli's

I have the heli bug now though and quite fancy something for outside the living room! I'll be watching this thread for suggestions.
