Has anybody seen one of these 1/12th scale models in the metal?

I'm tempted but I don't want to spend about £60 buying on-line without any knowledge of quality,
and there's no decent model shops anywhere within 45 miles of me.

Not a collector of bikes but, if their cars are anything to go by it should be good. I collect mainly 1/43 cars & minichamps are some of the best quality ones I have.

What concerns me is how well they scale very fine detail; such as things like spokes and cylinder cooling fins.

Thanks MK3Escy !!!! VERY VERY helpful ..... that's another £60 spent wink

It does look better than I expected but bearing in mind the period
I wonder why they omitted the front number plate?

In 1949 or thereabouts the Vincent logo on export bikes was changed from "HRD Vincent" to "The Vincent" to avoid confusion with Harley Davidson ("HD") here in the United States. Since this is the logo the Minichamps piece bears, we'll say it's a model of the export version of the bike. We didn't use number plates on the front mudguard here.
