I'm after a couple of spare bits for Tamiya 1/12 F1 cars.....anyone sourced spare parts before?

I've found 1 phone number for 'The Hobby Company'.....anyone used them?

The Hobby Company are the distro in the UK for Tamiya. For F1 bits try www.goldstarstockists.com Jumbly web site with tons on it BUT absolutely first class service. If you don't see what you want, just email them.

Also try Hiroboy as he sells all of the currently available Tamyia reissues. He specialises in car kits and also sells lots of "Trans kits" so seems to be able to get anything.

Pretty sure they can order in anything from the Hobby Company though. They have been good in the past when I have struggled to get hard-to-find bits.

Well!!! I rang the Hobby Company and asked if they had the parts I needed (front wing assy for Williams FW14B)and the lady scuttled off to find if their was a set of 'B' parts.....unfortunately the set wasn't complete so she asked which parts I needed.

I read out the list of 5 or so items and amazingly the required parts were present woohoo

but the best bit was, she said they would send them for nothing!! smile

Sorted!!!

Great link, thank you. Will try them for a replacement lower wishbone for my old 1:12 Tamiya Lotus 49. Kit has remained part-built for 25+ years due to a badly formed part. Now there's hope.
