Electric helis
Discussion
I know this has been done before, but what is the best of the latest offering of electric r/c helicopters?
Looking for mostly indoor, but possibly outdoor on a still day. Just a bit of fun really, but perhaps a bit more than the simple 'up-and-down' controls of the little Picco-Z (fun though that is).
No more than £50 ish.

I got one of those recently, upgraded the swash plates, blades etc. Can't get the feckin thing to fly properly and it's been consigned to the loft, just can't be @rsed.Anyone with a spare £30 can happily take it and see if they have more luck with it. Body shell is a it cracked at the front but easy repair with tape or buy a new one for a few quid from ebay.
I'm in leeds if anyone's interested.

I bought a little 3 channel from Tooleys models in Northampton for £30 quid.
Purchase based on the fact i have a 4 channel in the shed, but cant fly it for toffee, and it goes forward/ backward unlike the little pico ones.
Great little thing for the lounge, and proved uselful enough that i have the god like ability to hover my larger on for nearly 3 seconds before piling it into hedge/bins/clothes line etc.

Went in to buy Model Zone to buy my boy a new Scalextric for Christmas, almost bought myself a 4 channel chopper as an upgrade to my PicoZ, got talked into one of these little suckers as a stop gap
Storm IV
Was going to go for the next size up but difficulty (for a novice) and the fact it may take chunks out of the living room wall (and thereby upset Mrs FUBAR) I think Ive made the right choice (for now )
