Hi there has anyone made either of these Da Vinci kits? I quite fancy the aerial screw as a warm up and then tackling the flying machine.

How easy are they for someone with just o level woodwork?

Do you need lots of extra tools etc?

These were mentioned on P&P a little while back (couldn't find the thread, sorry), no real details, but the impression I got was basic hand tools only. Everything looks precut to me so shouldn't be much effort.
IIRC, the comment on the other thread was that the larger model was, well, LARGE.
