Danbury Mint 1964 DB5
Discussion
MY dad has been rummaging around in his attic and stumbled across a boxed Danbury Mint James Bond Aston Martin DB5 (1:24 scale), still with all the packing paper in place. He has no recollection of buying it and it seems to have 'just appeared'!

It's absolutely fabulous, the detail is amazing
Working parts include, ejector seat (obviously!), bonnet/boot lids, aerial, petrol filler cover, working suspension/steering, bullet proof rear shield, front & rear pull out 'rams', tyre slasher that pulls out of the wheel centre, interior control panel, weapons tray, removeable (1960's) mobile phone in a panel in the driver's door, the tail lights flip down, pivoting sun visors and, of course, revolving number plates (havent checked if they are correct to the film, but guessing they are!)
My dad told me to give it to my 4 year old, car mad son, but Ive decided to put it into safe storage until he's old enough not to put it in the bath or 'jump' it off the kitchen table.
Wish I was a good enough or patient enough photographer to do it justice, so you'll have to do with the library pic above
I appreciate its not really rare per se, but Im chuffed as nuts with it
