hi,

The engine on my losi lst has just blown up and have been looking into these two engines and was wondering if any one has had any experience with either of them. There is loads of information on the spec of the .28 but i can seem to find any thing for the 427?

I wouldnt bother with the mack engine, XTM do a decent .28 for around £90 i think. My cars are running Go engines and there as fast as the top Itallians and 50% cheaper.

Currently using Go .21 7 port in my Buggy and its very very fast, Go .25 6 Port in my ST-1 which is twice as fast as the stock .28 and gets 7 minutes off a tank and my new mugen is running a Go .21 5 Port.

I go with a good race .21, fast then the .28's as they rev 40% more, if your car is geared 13/46 you wont noticed any difference off the mark either and you can get near 10 mins to a tank which is most heats!
