I was out with my RC Scooby driving as usual it's a versitile tough thing

BUT I've finally managed 2 go and brake it frown

accidently drove into a kerb and discorved i've completely wrecked the motor.

Any help? Do I need a new motor or is it just a wiring problem

How old is the car?
Early Tamiya electric models run a mechanical speed control and this can play up if its had a big enough jolt.
Could be a loose wire on the receiver or servo controling the speed control. Also check the resistor is ok as these can be damaged by a knock.

Does the motor spin up at all or is it dead?
If dead and you've checked all the connections you could try getting power direct from the battery to the motor to see what happens to try and trace the fault.
Does the steering still work fine?
