Hi folks, after a bit of advice if possible please.

Dad is moving away from model planes, having spaffed quite a bit of cash on them and barely ever getting the chance to use them. All from within the last couple of years, and half of it hasn't even been built/used.

There must be about £600+ of value on the box prices that I've seen alone, with more in the loft/garage!

He's just sold a complete setup which he paid £250 for a couple of years ago, got £70 for it on eBay. 20 minutes flight time on it!!

I notice that there's not a lot of decent kit on eBay (lots of cheap crap, plans and USB stuff), is there somewhere better for people selling quality aircraft bits, or is it just that no-one's using/selling/buying at the minute?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts... Hate to see him losing out on a lot of money if hee's just selling in the wrong place!

Yeah I have to agree the best place for enthusiast sale of proper equipment is on the enthusiast forums.
Saying that, eBay is great if you want to spend 2k on an all alloy HPI Savage lol
