rc surfer (link attached) HELP NEEDED

Hello guys
I dont know if many of you guys have seen them but Im after a Rc surfer that was very popular in the 90s. apparently Kyhosho who produced them stoped and sold the design to someone else.
There are other versions available in Japan but Ive been told they are rubbish and do not work at all.
ive looked at most of the big toy shops (hamleys etc) but they do not have any idea of what im talking about.
does anyone out there know of where I can get one, I understand that new american versions have brushless motors in them. I am aware of a US seller but I want to try a local source first.
Ive attached a vid for those of you who might have never heard or seen these fantastic toys in action
