Hello and a question!
Discussion
Hi
I have just got back into building scale models, i did it many years ago but gave up when i started driving a real car. I have now owned far to many cars then i care to remember and realise that building models is far cheaper ;o)
The first to kits i have purchased are the both fairly rare (i think) and deleted:
1. Tamiya 1:24 Sierra XR4i
2. Volvo BTCC Estate
This time around i have decided to do it properly, i have promised myself not to rush into things and actualy wait for the parts to dry before i try and glue them instead of trying to shive a kit together in a day, lol.
My - hopefully - very simple question is that i would love some advice on where i can pick up older and deleted kits? I am a huge Ford fan and want the RS500 touring cars and the Escort rally cars but just any older kits would be of interest so any advice would be great, cheers all.
P.S If anyone has any 1:24 scale plastic car kits for sale, please get in touch and maybe we could do a deal (i am quite fussy though so please dont be offended if i dont want to buy something, i dont like Ferrari)

EBay - I sold all mine there!
Tamiya have re-issued some of their older stuff, so I recommend checking their website/catalogue before spending big on older kits. Inventories of the Far-Eastern traders (Hong Kong usually) selling on eBay UK are good indicators of what is actually available, too.
Tamiya`s website:

Sadly no Fords or Volvos though.
