Which petrol powered R/C off road car?
Discussion
To my experience of the wee nitro car's i'd save up a bit more and get a 2 stroke engined car, there not just as nimble as they are 1/5 scale. But the time you spend on messing about with fuel mixture's and sprocket gears on the wee nito's it's worth it 10 times over.
A good 2 stroke car will cost about £600 the Madbaga beetle is the one to have

i have a schumacher raptor nitro car, i wouldn't say it bad its my first rc car and i dont really no what im doing with it but iv had it for about two years and it seems low maintenance (imo) as i haven’t had any big problems with it.
Although I have always wanted an FG but can’t afford one at the moment.

Hey popped out to go look at one of these today. While i was there i spotted a schumacher raptor micro radio controlled car. Thinking of getting one of these for the nephew as its his birthday. While i was looking i popped in to another shop and they said that the raptor was very hard to control, any views on this? they also had a 1:6 scal import radio controlled buggy with petrol enging like the baja for 300 bills!!! my mind says it will be made of old biro' and bits of tin but my walled prefers it to 600-800 for a ft/hpi/carson any thoughts peeps?

Sell me one of your Fioranos for 500 notes and buy the nipper the proper one.Like most things in life you certainly get what you pay for in this hobby, fg have been making large scale cars for years and they would be the ones I would be looking at. But I've never looked into getting anything in this scale so I'm not entirely sure. The guys http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_234/tt.htm might be able to help a bit more.
One of my mates has got one of the http://www.modelsport.co.uk/?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=24586[/url] schumacher rascal trucks and it is suprisingly rapid for its size.
