What would be top of your list for an aircraft model?

Ok so there are 1000's of kits out there, but if there had to be an all time special aircraft what would it be?
I love the F16 simply for what its stands for in fighter jets!
I think all those 1,000 kits are in my loft at the moment I love the F16 simply for what its stands for in fighter jets!
I have no favourites.
I've just finished a tiny 1/72 model of the Messerschmitt Me209 V1 record breaking aircraft.
My next task is to complete a 1/144 Boeing 707-348C airliner I started a couple of years ago. I have these lovely 1960s Aer Lingus decals I want to use on it so I have now motivated myself to get on and finish the job.
If I still have the urge to do an airliner, I fancy doing another Aer Lingus one (to remind me of my teenage days spotting at Dublin Airport).
What I want to build very much depends on what takes my fancy at any given time.
I've always had a soft spot for the Mosquito. Now that I think about it, I seem to recall that I've got an unmade kit lying around somewhere.
ETA Just seen the post above, so if a 1:24 Mossie is due that could be on the cards to join the collection.

I only have one aircraft model in my collection. One day I will get around to building this beauty:

If you can't wait for the Airfix version, you could go for this one:

Not for the faint hearted though as the larger parts are vac-formed. Shouldn't be a problem for an experienced modeller. They do a 1/24 Lancaster and Lightning too!

A Lancair IV/IV-P model, one of the most beautiful modern planes
I have been debating buying this kit for a while:

Add a bf109E to those two and you have my "top three".well, that latter is pig ugly but i still love it.
mozzie, A10, vulcan....but the B2 or B2 or mirage 2000 and the SR71.....i love em all.
living in Lincoln and being on the flight path for RAF waddington home of the Vulcan i would say the Vulcan is my fav but there are so many others that are lovely.
aviation is just brilliant.

With a little luck you might see XH558 in the air this year doing the rounds
it would be lovely to see her back at Waddington, after seeing her for most of my life i feel she's part of the city of Lincoln.when at primary and secondary school both we're on the flight path for RAf waddington and we used to get the Vulcans flying over on a daily basis, at times it'd they'd be a pain in the ass but at most times it'd be an awsome sight one that i'm pleased i was witness to.
