Just purchased the 1:43 Kyosho Dino and although it cost £10 more than alternative minichamps etc; i have to say that i think it's well worth the money.
The model feels reasuringly heavy. the paint is unblemished and simply beautiful. There are 3 different openings with an engine bay more detailed than i have seen on some 1:18's.
I am temted to start collecting them exclusively. it has now taken podium for my new favourite model above my minichamps Db5.
Also got the schuco BMW 3.0 csl " rennversion" and although impressive, it doesn't have the WoW factor of the KYOSHO.

Aproximately 2/3rds of my collection comprises of corgi vanguards as i can't seem to resist the interesting models. £5 in modelzone sale at the moment too apart from a Tr4 i have my eye on.

Can anyone comment the IXO Ferraris as they have the rights to most variants?

I never even considered looking at Kyosho as I alwyas thought they only made 1:18 scale!

Its nice when you're surprised by the quality of your new purchase, I felt the same when I took delivery of my Merc CLK GTR Street Version by Maisto...its fantastic, but its a shame I cant find a Maisto Porsche GT1 Road car to compliment it frown

I would rate the £30 odd models as no1. Of course you pay extra but the overal finish is sublime. %15 better than minichamps and AA.
