Popped into a model shop the other day and they had some highly detailed, high quality cars on display, far too pricey to be considered (around the £160-£170 mark), probably in the 1:24th scale area.

I thought I would remember the name of the company that made them, but it seems I can't anyone have any ideas? Was something like CCM or CMC, but googling doesn't help. banghead

Try AUTOart, stunning detail and resonable price. The motorsport section has some brilliant replicas too.

Ok, biased opinion.
If you are looking for really good quality models, 1/43rd scale are better than diecasts anytime. Just compare the two.
1/43rd scale are a good size to display and the detail is much better.
If you want a particular model or want a model built to match your car there are lots available, let me know. I can probably help.
