Do any of you out there fly one of these ?
Discussion
This looks like a good deal http://www.sussex-model-centre.co.uk/shopexd.asp?i... do any of you fly one ?
Just to let you know that I have flown R/C helicopters on and off for about 20 years, and feel the need to really get back into it again. The advantage with an electric one is that I can fly it during my lunch time at work.
Any info ?
Thanks.

I did try to fly one of these a few years ago but never really got the hang of it so sold it on eBay. For just over a £100 that does look a good deal though. Think mine was nearer £200 without a transmitter! They're quite fragile and will break if you hit a wall a bit a hard. If you want to fly outside, you need nil wind. An ideal place would be a gym or large hall with a high roof.
i have the hummingbird V3 and it's brilliant, after 8months of constant practice i started into circuits and can do fly and land anywhere.
the V4 should be even better than the V3 and will probably be even more stable.
you'll also need some Lipo packs and a Lipo charger as the NMH battery packs only last about 6mins in the hover.
since the hummingbird i've moved onto a Twister 3D which is larger.
(i've flown fixed wing for the past 23 years...this includes jets)
