Well, i've recently started racing my peugeot 205 GTI and thought it would be quite nice to have a model of the car. I can't see the majour model manufactures rushing out to produce anything! so i'll have to built my own


I am looking at either 1:24 or prefer 1:18 or larger. I will obviously have to modify an existing kit but where do i start

Can anyone recomen decent 205 gti kit or diecast car and were can you get modified things such as race seats, roll cage etc etc.

I have seen a reasonable 1:18 diecat kit by Solido, Is this a desent place to start or are there better kits

Any help would be great as i've not looked at or built a kit in 10 years.

Solido do a die cast 1:18 205 GTI, in various colours. I have no idea if they are any good or not, but if you can get to see one in the flesh then you could make your own mind up. Again not sure how easy it would be to modify.
