Who is getting fed up with Mattel and more so, Minichamps creating all these 'special' F1 models such as first win, first podium etc etc...

They are only copies of standard cars repackaged to make more money. Why not focus on producing 2007 cars to arrive in 2007 instead of 2008!!!!

If it's not the manufacturers, then it's mail-order companies creating 'specials' just to clear old stock that is not shifting.

This very part of the current die-cast industry REALLY gets me so I'm not really into collecting the F1 cars, i'm more into road cars but the same still applies there.
