Just got this in this off ebay at the weekend.

Had the worst paint job ever when it arrived, so I spent yesterday giving it a nice Blue finish and spraying the wheels gold. Shame about the stickers as I had to spray the outside of the shell so had to peel them off and stick on after painting. Will buy a new set on ebay if i can find them. Also need to put some strips along the edge of the windows to cover up the paint on the inside which i just cant get off.

Anyways I always wanted to own a Williams and now I do even if its not the real thing.

The car itself is a Tamiya FF01 which has been built but never used. Unsure if I should use it or not. Anyone got any idea if this is collectable or not?

Pictures seem fine now, although I notice you have had a few edits!

Nice model, have always admired the Williams Clio, I guess its better to own a 1:10 than not own one at all!

Shame you had to paint the outside of the shell, makes it very vulnerable if you do take it for a run out (which you must be tempted to do!).

Not sure if they are collecteable, the chassis is pretty common that won't be, but the shell might be?

Anyway, nice model, and a tidy paint job.

Unlikely to bother running it to be honest as have lots more rc cars that are faster or will outhandle it, but just look boring. Was suprised that when I posted it up on clio sport .net saying I had a new Williams the first couple of poster failed to see that it was RC and one was asking if my arch liner was missing! I thought the stick on lights and 25ft paving slabs would be a big giveaway. And the holes in the shell! www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?p=2759253#post2759253

Can't belive that, yes its a realistic model, but as you say, there are some pretty clear giveaways!
