Anyone in the Surrey/Hampshire area interested in slotcar racing? Haydon Slot Club is one of the country's longest-established clubs & we're looking for new members. We race every Friday night on a permanent 4 lane track near Aldershot. For more info, check us out on the British Slot Car Racing Association website http://uk.geocities.com/slot_racing/H
or better still, pop down & join us for an evening's fun followed by a pint.
If you want to see just how fast slotcar racing is, this year's National Finals are being held on the 5,6,7th May at the Vodafone HQ, Newbury. Spectators are welcome but you'll need to register first as it's not a public location. Info is all here www.bscra.fsnet.co.uk/nationals.htm

Hope to see some of you soon!

Few years since I've dug the old cars out, used to race at Burnt Oak and Hillingdon clubs before moving to Oxford.
Took part in the Britsh GP for a couple of years, still have the Ninco Porsche and the CLK that I raced.
Most of my stuff will be way off pace nowadays as I expect Ninco are probably on NC4 engines by now.

These slot cars are a bit quicker than the Ninco variety! Chassis made from spring steel & cobalt magnet motors that weigh hardly anything. Real speeds of over 50 feet per second. Same principle, but more fun!
