Vickers Valient model crash
Discussion
The 16-foot wing-span model of the Vickers Valient has crashed, burnt and was destroyed on only its fourth flight. The flight was in front of an inspector to obtain a license for flights in public. The Register web-site has more details.
The model was insured for £15,000 and took 4 years to complete.
Hope there is a video of one of its flights.
