Hi Modelheads !
I am looking for a store that sells/sends 1:6 or 1:8 models (diecast and/or plastic)
of a blown Hemi engine, or maybe also a blown Chevy or blown Ford engine.
Mounted on a stand, and fitted with a plaquette,
they could end up as "a kind of different trophy"
for a dragster race in germany.....
I thought I saw an ad somewhere on the net for a shop on the channel islands (?),
which had an attractive pricing for a hemi,
but would also check out other suppliers.
Thanks for your help,
Benni
(and please don´t show me www.weberprecision.com ,
I am on my knees when I see this guy´s work, but they seem to be not 4 sale,
and might be a tad expensive for my purposes, he he )

I know it is Ebay, but what about This?

If you want something a bit more "real" then Google for Challenger V-8. A number of places seem to supply kits, but actually tracking down a price or even a half decent web site I think the main castings and gears etc cost approx $1000, the OHC conversion is $125 and the supercharger is $500. Then all you have to do is buy a machine shop and build the thing

Have you looked at GMP?

They do a range of engines, try this link:

And the cheap option:-

www.revell.com/catalog/catalog/Engines-17-1.html

Nothing supercharged, unfortunately. I swear I saw something in a shop here the other day that may have been. I'll pop in and have a look at the weekend.

Thank You for the info so far......
I will look in here in the next days, and also after the weekend,
maybe you can dig up even more sources.
Cheers,
Benni
