possible problems with new RC car
Discussion
i just got myself a RTR tamiya gravel hound.
i havent had a chance to run it yet (its charging)
but i have a couple of questions.
1. does the light go out on the charger when its finished charging?
2. are the front wheels supposed to be paralel with the body, or is it ok for them to be at a slight angle.
as i look at the car from the top, if the body/chassis is pointing to 12.00, then wheels are pointing to 11.50 and 12.10...is this something i should care about?

if it's 4WD (I can't remember) then a bit of toe out is fine as when you give it some stick, they'll pull in quite a bit. If it is RWD then I would give it a little toe in. Just experiment to find what best suits your driving as it will alter the turning characteristics. This is of course assuming it has adjustable track rods. Hope this helps. The light on the charger probably doesn't go out when it's done if it's a slow charger. Try not to overcharge the cells and always try to run them totally flat, a headlight bulb is quite good for this.
