I have just got a very nice maseratio spyder 1/18 scale model by burago and it had stickers to hold down the boot, the engine bay and the doors and now i cant get them off i have used boiling water. Glycerole which started to take the paint off so i stopped and i have tried warm soapy water. Do any of you have any suggestions?

Play a hair dryer on the stickers at a lowish setting and see if it softens the glue.

I thought of white spirit too but it could damage the paintwork. If you intend to use white spirit, test it on a snall section of the model first - using a cotton bud or something similar.
