question re charger for my Kyosho 1/10 EP RC

Just bought a Kyosho 1/10th EP (alpha2?) Scoobyroo for my 8yo as a "well done for being such a good lad at your new school pressie from his dad".

The kit comes complete with 7.2v battery and charger which I am fine with.

The transmitter takes 8 x AA cells and looks like it has a socket to take a charger so I don't need to keep taking out the batteries to charge em up.. Trouble is I don't know what sort of charger will fit!

What do I need?

Most of the adapter type of mains charger are universal and will charge most batteries aswell as the transmitter and reciever packs. This universal one will do.
