CMC V EXOTO

Anyone else notice that these two have brought
out the same car at the same time? (Ferrari 500
F2 Ascari) I have the Exoto on it's way, so they
just beat CMC who have a release date of 01.01.07.
It does seem that Exoto have rushed this out as I
have had Senna's McLaren on pre-order for 3 yrs, yet
I first got wind of the 500 about 3 wks ago as a pre-order
and it's out already!!!

Having had the pleasure of holding many examples up close from both brands, I would have to say that CMC are better than Exoto by a long mile. That's not meant to reflect badly on Exoto, becuase they are fantastic models, but CMC just have something else about them that mark them out. Maybe it has been the subject matter they have focussed on.

At the end of the day, with both brands, you get what you pay for and if you can afford to build up a collection of these models then you'll have something very special to enjoy in years to come...
