Hi guy's,

Just had a conversation with a mate who's been trying to track down a specific autoart model.
He's phoned 2 different shops/suppliers and has been told that Autoart went bust a couple of days back.

Any ideas? - is this true?

I don't know who you have been talking to, but there is nothing wrong with AUTOart at all. Their business is growing steadily and they are becoming regarded as the leading 1:18 scale diecast manufacturer in the market today. With some 500 new models under development, there is no sign from where we are that AUTOart is going under.

Probably wishful thinking from some of the more established brands, because AUTOart is still a fairly new company in the world of scale models, having only started in the late 1990's.

Thanks for the reply and clearing that up Scott.

Thought it was wierd what my mate had been told - seemed bizzare to me at the time!

The comments expressed above were my own. However, I have spoken with AUTOart here in the UK this morning and they can confirm that these rumours are just that, and that business is doing well.
