Just have a couple of qustions about the MDF track.

- What router bit do you use? and what depth do you go to?

- How to you get a equal spaceing bettween tracks to keep the space even.

- How do you connect the power to the copper strip.

- Do you just use the scalectric power supplys and other bits?

- What thickness of MDF? (i have a 38 x 12 mm frame already, so i would only need to strip the ply off it.)

- How do the cars get grip? sand + paint?

Sorry about all the qustions, but i am just investigating about scraping the scalextric and makeing a track of my own, that fits my frame and i can get as much track on there a possible.

For real-life help there are slot car clubs all over the country, many with their own MDF tracks.

All will be glad to see you and happy to help you get you started with a track of your own.

See 'where to race'on the British Slot Car Racing Association website
All the best, Rob
