I found a very nice Jadi steel model of a TVR Tuscan S in my local TK Max store today. It is red with a light colour interior. It has opening doors, bonnet and a detachable roof panel. All for a bargain £9.99 (original price £24.99.

I bought it of course! :-)

i've got a pearlescent blue one with light interior wavey
the red is a nice shade on the model (i've got a red Jadi Sagaris too) my ones an interesting colour, its supposed to be Chameleon blue, but real chameleon blue has a nice shade of green in the base coat, my model is a deep blue with a shade of purple in it. scratchchin
may have been a misprint on the box maybe as i think the colour is more like a sort of reflex blue if TVR does such a colour.
thats a damn good price you got yours for! my nearest TK max sells assorted models too, but the shelf packers certainly aren't careful with them. most of the ones i've seen in there are battered and have damage on them.
Jadi's are fantastic models though, be careful when you clean it as i've noticed the windscreen wipers can be very delicate. can't wait to add the Jadi Cerbera to my collection now!

I picked up one of these (except in green) the other week, lovely models, and a decent price!

A bargain yes, but beware of what a shop says is the normal price because these models from Jadi had a RRP of just £19.99, so you still got the model at half price

I did the same at the weekend. I was in TK Maxx and saw this and thought it would look rather good on the bookshelf. The various types of DB9/DBS/DBR9 will be tempting no doubt

And guess what. When I took it out of the box one of the wing mirrors was missing - suppose I can take it back but i'd sooner acquire one. Is that possible? Can you contact the manufacturer?

Normally when customers ask us if we can get mirrors, wheels etc we tend to say no, mainly because communicating with these companies can be hard work! Also, they are in the business of making pre-built display models rather than kits, which we have found in the past is easier to obtain the odd spare part.

Having said all that, the guys at Jadi have always been very friendly to us, so there is no harm in bouncing an email over to them to see what they say. Here is the website:

Fair comment. In fairness it only set me back 9.99. By the time I'm finished I'll spend more than that getting a wing mirror. Thanks for the info.
