Not plastic models, and Mrs gopher still enjoys the drivel that spouts from the box in the corner, however she has been hankering after a dolls house kit for some time certainly something I encourage but she has yet been able to justify the cost to herself.

I may have to go out and buy one for her.

She is very supportive of the hobby tho, would much prefer that to me being down the pub with my mates every night I think.

Cheers

Nice one LC,i find it very relaxing when i have my modeling time, it must be even better to have someone to share it with.
Ive found the opposite sex show as much interest as males,if not more, its as though they find the detail fascinating.
I even had one female freind get down on her knees and closely study all the scale Die casts for ages saying,"i used to have that one,and that one"

I've shared a few hobbies in the past. Full size gliding. R/C model airplanes (flying, not building). Kite flying. I also tried scuba diving, but a dodgy ear stopped me equalising properly, which soon put a stop to that. Shooting. Oh, and cars of course.

Think that's about it.

Next is to get back into R/C buggies. Anyone recommend a good one ? As a kid I had a Tamiya Fox and a Tamiya Vanquish. (Girlfriend wants R/C Landrover 90).

You can't go wrong with Tamiyas. Have a look at www.modelsportuk.com www.fusionhobbies.com etc. Well into Tamiyas (see www.fastasfunk.co.uk ) Any Q's just PM me.
