Hi Guys,

im big into my modeling. i have many 1/10th cars a couple of the 1/14th scale trucks and also 4 1/16th scale tanks. so i guess you could say i am mad. lol

Anyway, ive just purchased a 1/5th scale car and i am in the process of turning all on the plastic parts into metal.

i was just wondering if anyone else on PH had a 1/5th scale??????

Later chaps.

Jordan.

I can do better than that. I have a couple of 1:1 scale cars, all with fully working parts - well, some of the time anyway!

Is it static or R/C?

I have a 1/5th scale petrol powered R/C buggy

I tend to bash about on playing fields and up a few mountains our way. Lots of fun.

I'm always carefull about too many people being about as its a very powerfull car and can easily cause much damage if some thing goes wrong like it did recently! i currently have a throttle/brake servo that has stripped all its teeth!

Hi mate

I have a technokit also.

have had it for a few years now but hardly get the time to use it!

1/5th scale really is awsome when there driven, there are a couple of proper tracks around London, the one i use is in uxbridge just off the A40 at a park called pole hill.

Bit small for the 1/5th scale motors but it's great fun.

only problem I have found with the technokit's is the lack of spare parts avaliable. do you know anywhere ???

have fun.

Sanj.

Nice one. I had 1/8 back in '87 and recently thought about getting into 1/5. Trouble is all the gear takes up so much room.

I recently started down the new path of mini planes.
