I used to be a member, but stoped when i had to pack my track away.
Got the track back out now, and i am wondering if its worth joining again??
Any one a member????
If so what do i get for my money?

Yup very worth it, you get a free car only available to members
which is worth around your membership. Mine was a Ford GT40!
Mag OK some of the new annoouncements are good as well.

I knew you got a free car, when i used to be a member i think i got one every year.
The main thing i wanted to know was if the mag was any good.

Hi
I think you might be talking about the National Scalextric Collectors Club at:
www.nscc.co.uk/
They publish a very informative journal, back copies of which are viewable online.

NSCC are a very popular club, well-run and focus on collecting rather than racing. If you want to race against others, there are slot car clubs all over the country, racing on wooden and plastic tracks and even stock car ovals.

The NSCC club directory is under development, but you can find other slot car club directories, such as at the British Slot Car Racing Association webite at:
www.bscra.fsnet.co.uk
All of the clubs listed will have members who are interested in the many different forms of slot racing in the UK.

Hope this helps - feel free to ask for more info! Happy to tell you more abiut the hobby or specific clubs.

Best regards

No that's not it although based in the same are. This Mag is the Scalextric Collector
run by Hornby Hobbies e.g. the factory.
It doesn't have a web site but is at
PO Box 423
Worcester
WR2 4WA or 0870 241 6811
Subs are currently £ 20 PA UK or £ 24 Europe or £ 26 ROW
Mag is published 6 times a year & isn't bad, but obviously only covers Scalextric
stuff. But as I say you get a free car when you join & thats worth the subs alone.

Canx that just found it www.scalextric.com/pages/collectors.aspx
