If not Roop, try ebay, seem to be going nuts on there with vintage Tamiya's acording to my mate, he has spent enough on them
I'm more into the modern stuff myself

www.tamiyaclub.com

Site for tamiyas and other rc stuff.

They are a good bunch on there, you can check on there in the forums for prices or check on ebay.

Generally the first 100 command the prices but any of the "classics" eg Avante, Egress, TFE etc also can get a few hundred.

I paid nearly bottom price for my restored TFE and its nearly doubled its price.

As with anything, condition makes a big difference in the price, also it comes in circles as to whats popular and what sells at any one time.

i think the scale is 1/12th on those early cars, personally i favour the modern cars althought the 911 rsr is stunning! i simply dont have the space for them anymore. il will check out tamiya club, thanks! Ebay is my last resort.

As Claire said - Tamiya Club is the place to go, but if you are after top dollar, wait until the summer and shift them on eBay. eBay is also the best place to check value by looking at previous auctions.

i sold some old vintage bits of tamiya on ebay, and some of the prices i got were astounding! i got £63 for the remains of a sand scorcher decal sheet! (less than half the decals left!)
