For some reason I have the "Must 'av's" and want one of these. Currently one available on eBay from the USA but they are few and far between now.

Anyone here got one? Will I ultimately be disappointed? Would like to fit a faster engine, but otherwise keep it standard.

Not familier with them but look like a lot of fun
Being Kyosho at a guess i would say it should be pretty easy to upgrade the motor and batteries for a little extra go.

There are plenty on Ebay from Hong Kong, the GP ones rather than the electric ones. I'll be picking one up at some point, as they look very cool.

They stopped making the electric version in 2000 apparently, and now only make the Nitro version - hence it's hard to get. Not keen on the noise and hassle of Nitro, so want to stick with Electric.

Some of the ones I've seen in the US, people have fitted light, snow ploughs, etc.!

Yes, been watching these. There are a couple in the US about £30 cheaper that I'm keeping my eye on.

Let me know if you get one and if they're any good, as I still quite fancy one

Sweet, look forward to hearing how you get on. Where did you order it from in the end?

eBay (rcmart) - Hong Kong. Bought a couple off there with no problems

They are great fun. I have driven all three variants of the Blizzard (original EP, the GP and the EV) and they are all great fun. Great in snow...!

There was a guy in the US selling an aluminium snow plough for the EV, went for about $40 I think.

So what colour do you think is best? All the 'real' ones are red, so I was going to go with that?

I think you're probably best off with red or a bright blue, although I have a hankering to do a matt black special forces style one. (not saying that there is a special forces one, just that this is what I think it would look like).

Not a big fan of the yellow though, although not sure why.

Finally got it yesterday (from Hong Kong). Decided on red which I am pleased with. All I need now is some snow

Excellent...! Have fun with it - they are a great model. Test it out on sand dunes too - amazing...!
