Scratchbuild L-1649A Starliner to 1:22 scale.
After 5 months construction its now ready for covering with film.
Will be done in period TWA colours.

Electric power and approx 2.2kg all up.

Impressive! What sort of battery pack will be powering such a beast? Flying that for the first time's going to be a credit card crushing butt cheek moment

Power will be 3S1P lipoly 4000MaH. Current drain is around 38 Amps at full throttle.

The trickiest part was the functional Fowler flaps that give up to 40°. Probabaly at least a month of headscratching for those alone.

Maiden flight will be 'interesting' no doubt
